About The Villa
OVERVIEW
Located high up on the Lustica peninsular, Villa Stari Mlin has dramatic, 180-degree views of the Bay of Kotor and the twin massifs of the Orjen and Lovcen mountains, and is nestled on a peaceful hillside surrounded by olive groves, small stone hamlets and fishing villages.
The villa provides stylish and comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms with ensuite shower room, each individually decorated with a combination of English and continental antique and contemporary furniture.
The villa is also a perfect get away location in the autumn-winter "off season", with a wood-burning stove, a well stocked wood-shed, first-class bedding/soft furnishings shipped from London, and a variety of mountain walks/hiking nearby (as well as skiing in the mountains to the north).
It was recently selected as one of the 18 Best luxury villas in Montenegro by Times Travel Magazine, one of the 10 best properties in Montenegro by Savills, mentioned as one of the Top 20 best wedding venues, and has recently been featured in House and Garden magazine.

Relax in the loungers and enjoy the views of Kotor Bay by the 10m salt pool, with parasols to shade from the sun. The pergola on the sun terrace also provides shelter, and includes a summer kitchen with fridge and barbecue.
Provençal Gardens
The terraced garden is planted with typical Mediterranean plants, herbs (mint, sage and rosemary)and trees. The large stone-paved sun terrace houses a shady pergola made from parts of the original wooden olive press that was in use until less than twenty years ago.

The Orla Room is located at the front of the house and has doors opening onto the gardens. This bedroom has a king size bed.
The Herrington Room
The Herrington Room is located at the front of the house and has doors opening onto the gardens. This bedroom has a king size bed.

This bedroom has a king size bed. The Copper Room is located at the front of the house and has doors opening onto the gardens.
The Oriental Room
The Oriental Room is at the back of the house and has a zip-lock super king bed that can be divided to create single beds if preferred.
The Oak Room
The Oak Room is at the back of the house and has a zip-lock super king bed that can be divided to create single beds.

House Rules
Check in: from 4pm.
Check out: by 10am.
Children are welcome, and pets are allowed with prior arrangement, at a cost of £50 per animal per stay.
Smoking is not allowed.
Daily housekeeping is included in your stay.
Payment
Online bank transfer only.
25% of the total amount is due at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days before arrival.
Damage Deposit
A refundable damage deposit of £750 is charged at time of booking, with 25% taken with the initial rental deposit, and the remaining 75% is collected with the final payment, 60 days prior to rental start date. The refundable damage deposit is released 7 days after departure via direct bank transfer. (subject to any retentions).
We recommend that you and other members of your party take out travel insurance to cover you for loss of deposit if you have to cancel your holiday due to illness and for losses or injury arising during your stay.
Cancellation Policy
100% of paid pre-payments are refundable if you need to cancel your stay 60 days before arrival or earlier (excluding a £100 admin fee).
50% of paid pre-payments are refundable if you need to cancel 30 days before arrival or earlier (excluding a £100 admin fee).
0% of paid pre-payments are refundable if you cancel within 30 days of your stay.
It is recommended that you take out travel insurance to protect yourself should you need to cancel due to an emergency or other reasons.
