The views from Villa Stari Mlin are breath-taking and the inspiring and dramatic setting of the Montenegrin coast and Kotor Bay provide the perfect location for organising a painting retreat, or a restorative yoga retreat. The Villa is based in a sleepy hamlet on the Lustica Peninsula in Montenegro, with 180 degree views across the bay of Kotor.
PAINTING COURSES
Villa Stari Mlin provides the unique opportunity to explore and paint the surrounding Venetian Republic waterside towns and beautiful traditional Montenegrin villages, including UNESCO World Heritage site, medieval Kotor.
If you are an artist wanting to organise a painting holiday, course or retreat for your students, there’s no better location for teaching one-on-one and working alongside your guests demonstrating different ideas and approaches, and with time for discussion and critique.
YOGA RETREATS
The Villa is a restored 400 year old olive mill, offering peace & tranquility away from the maddening crowd, and with the sunset walks, wild swimming, and surrounding nature and wildlife, there’s no better place to recharge and reconnect with yourself.
Whilst there’s no official yoga studio, there are plenty of areas to choose from to set up yoga mats, from the first floor verandah, to the old stone guvna, to the swimming pool terrace. And if the weather is inclement, the huge kitchen can convert into a yoga studio.
